Harry Angel Pair a Premier Highlight for Collingrove

Popular Darley shuttler Harry Angel (IRE) is knocking on the door of G1 success with Tom Kitten a close second in the Group I MRC Futurity last Saturday and Stretan Angel in the same position in the recent Group I VRC Lightning Stakes  and at Flemington on Saturday Angel Capital will get his chance in the Group I VRC Australian Guineas.

Collingrove Stud will present a draft of 11 at Inglis Premier starting this Sunday and two of them are by Harry Angel, who is also the sire of boom unbeaten three year-old Private Harry, winner of the $3million Magic Millions Sunlight Plate beating Golden Slipper winner Lady of Camelot.

First into the ring is Lot 123, a quality colt and the second foal of well bred So You Think mare Dancingmiracle, a grand-daughter of stakes-winner Fidelio’s Miracle, who traces back to the family of Group I winner Snowland and Group winners Portillo, Ghisoni, Larkspur Run and current star 2YO Return to Conquer.

Physically he is a great mix of his sire Harry Angel and dam sire So You Think, whose daughters are making a growing impression at stud producing Group I winners Fireburn (Golden Slipper) and Puchkine as well as this season’s exciting unbeaten 2YO Rivellino, winner of the $2million Inglis Millennium.

Lot 519 is a lovely Harry Angel filly and second foal from Tavivalley (NZ), a half-sister by Tavistock to Group I winner Valley Girl from Group III winner Leigh Valley. She is a racy two year-old type with a great walk and her dam sire Tavistock is also on the up and has had notable success as sire of the dam of $16.9million earner Mr Brightside.

Hellbent is another sire on the path to G1 autumn success with his glamour mares Magic Time and Benedetta, who have both returned to racing in top form.

Collingrove Stud have high hopes for Lot 409, a Hellbent filly from Statue of Liberty (IRE) mare Relaunch.

Her dam has had three foals to race and all are winners with Porsha Crystal scoring after the catalogue went to print and the family has already produced a Group I winning mare in Oakleigh Plate winner Reactive.
