Exciting Godolphin galloper Caesar Cipher (Encryption) topped today’s Inglis Digital February (Late) Online Sale, selling for $140,000.
The 3YO sold to A Value Consulting’s Alan Lee and was one of 10 Godolphin gallopers in the catalogue.
All 10 Godolphin-offered horses sold for a gross of $460,500, to the delight of Godolphin’s Racing and Bloodstock Manager Jason Walsh.
“To achieve such a strong result for Caesar Cipher at $140,000 is a clear testament to the strong and consistent demand for quality horses,’’ Walsh said.
"We see many repeat buyers for Godolphin horses, knowing they are a proven formula and we thank them for their continued support.

Caesar Cipher was one of five lots to realise $100,000 or more today, joined by a Hello Youmzain yearling ($135,000), Vintage Strike (in foal to Ozzmosis, $130,000), the G2 placed Shangri La Express ($105,000) and lightly raced Fun Fashion ($105,000).
Another significant element of the February (Late) Sale was a draft of 46 yearlings, racehorses and broodmares from Durrant Racing, which grossed $479,900.
“I’m happy with the results,’’ Adam Durrant said.
“I was hammered with interest, the phone hasn’t stopped really, they’ve been really well received by the market and there was plenty of interest in them and I thought they sold well overall so you can’t ask for much more than that.’’
In total today’s sale grossed $4.95m.
“It’s been a case of business as usual for Inglis Digital so far in 2025,’’ the platform’s Business Manager Nick Melmeth said.
“The volume of participants engaged with the platform continues to grow with every sale, particularly in terms of international buyers, who are becoming an ever more increasing feature of each sale.
“The demand for quality stock is verging on insatiable, as evidenced by the results from today’s sale.’’
Entries are now open for the Inglis Digital March (Early) Online Sale, which will be held from March 7-12.
Already confirmed for the March (Early) Sale is Solvency, a winning half sister (ex Real Desire) to last weekend’s G1 Black Caviar Lightning winner Skybird.
Solvency will be offered in foal to exciting young sire In The Congo.
