Right Sires Make Yarraman Premier Draft a Winner

Yarraman Park have taken plenty of guesswork out of the equation with their Inglis Premier draft featuring 11 yearlings and every single one is by a serious top class Group I producing sire.

Lot 176 is the fourth foal of Francaletta, a Group III winning High Chaparral (IRE) half-sister to stakes-winner Asset from the family of Group I winner Snowland and Group winners Portillo, Ghisoni and current star Aussie bred NZ 2YO Return to Conquer, who has won three stakes races at his only starts to date.

The I Am Invincible x High Chaparral nick has produced nine winners from 10 starters headed by Group I winner Media Sensation, stakes-winner Imwonderfultonight, stakes-placed Daggers and promising filly Qatars Choice.

Lot 228 is the third foal of unraced Joy at Last, a half-sister by More Than Ready (USA) to Group II winner Castlereagh Kid and grand-daughter of Group I Queensland Oaks winner and blue hen Joie Denise, whose descendants include Group I winners Tuesday Joy, Sunday Joy, Fenway and Champion Mare More Joyous, who scored 21 wins and $4.5million and is by also by More Than Ready.
