Two on the Trot for Time to Reign

Tara Madgwick - Sunday March 16

Just two days after siring his first winner, Kingstar Farm’s promising young sire Time to Reign added a second with King’s Court saluting at Ascot.

Trained by Luke Fernie, King’s Court was first up from a spell after a two start spring campaign that produced a second at Ascot back in October.

He led for home and was tenacious to the line winning by a head in a thrilling finish.

A bargain $15,000 Inglis Classic purchase for his trainer from the Kingstar Farm draft, King’s Court has already banked $60,000 and change in prizemoney producing an amazing result for his owners!

King’s Court is the first foal from Written Tycoon mare Writ Large, a daughter of speedy Choisir juvenile Miss Independent, who won the Inglis 2YO Classic and comes from the family of Group I winner Tempest Morn.

Writ Large produced a filly by Time to Reign and went back to him again last spring.

Time to Reign has sired two winners!

A brilliant winner of the Group II ATC Silver Slipper and a half-brother to Champion 2YO and Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign, Time to Reign has now had two winners and metro placed Crown the King from a handful of runners.
