Vinery Stud have had had a super season so far with the rise of their young sire Ole Kirk and a new crop of star graduates doing the farm proud and adding further to the appeal of their 13 strong draft for Inglis Easter.

Heading into a big weekend of racing, Ole Kirk is sitting on top of the Australian first season sire table by winners and earnings with his stock sure to be popular and the very first horse Vinery will send through the sale ring on Sunday is a filly by this most exciting of young sires.

Lot 17

Lot 17 is a cracking type for a first foal being from Lady Cuvee (NZ), a daughter of champion sire Savabeel that placed in the Group I BRC Queensland Oaks and comes from the family of dual Group I winning $2million earner Rangirangdoo.

This tough NZ female family has had success when updated with Australian speed to produce dual Group I winning filly Shout the Bar.

Vinery have some top class three year-old graduates running this season that include Group and stakes-winners such as Too Darn Lizzie, Gatsby’s, Sepals and the Everest place-getter Growing Empire, who has a full sister in the draft this year.

Lot 58 is by Zoustar from Group II placed Snitzel mare Miles of Krishan, who has had two foals to race both winners and in addition to Growing Empire, she has also left Group III placed six time winner Dancing Alone.

Lot 58

Her 2YO filly Miles of Glory (I Am Invincible) has also shown nice ability in two trials for the Michael Freedman stable and looks likely to add further shine to what is a super impressive pedigree right down the page with Group I winners under both the second and third dams
