Prized Icon has returned to his birthplace of Gooree Stud to stand the coming season this spring and posted a two state metro double on Wednesday in Sydney and Melbourne.

Progressive four year-old mare Callmeanicon was in top form at Sandown winning the Benchmark 70 event over 1800m by half a length for the Bill Papazaharoudakis stable.

She has four wins from 12 starts and has won over $111,000 for her owners, who include Kooringal Stud, who used to stand Prized Icon.

Four year-old gelding Good Prize landed a Benchmark 72 event over 1600m at Warwick Farm for the Gratz Vella yard taking his overall record to seven wins from 17 starts with prizemoney topping $146,000.
