Tara Talks Racing – An Aussie Bred Melbourne Cup Contender

Craig Tompson - Monday September 15

When watching the racing last weekend I was thrilled to see up and coming Aussie bred stayer Revelare secure his place in the Melbourne Cup when winning the Group III VRC Archer Stakes at Flemington so this week we’re talking to his breeder and part-owner Colleen Bamford.

Bamford has tasted Melbourne Cup glory as a co-owner of high class import Americain (Fr), who won in 2010, and that experience has fuelled her passion to breed a Melbourne Cup winner with So You Think gelding Revelare the result of her dream.

We’re talking racing, breeding and why so many women enjoy a life built around horses!
