Two Shares In Within The Law Offered on MM Digital

Media Release - Thursday November 20

A rare opportunity to buy into a multiple Group One placed three-year-old filly will be present at the upcoming Magic Millions Digital Sale (21-26 November).

Within The Law

Two shares in outstanding filly Within the Law will be offered unreserved at the digital sale which will be online and open for bidding tomorrow (Friday) and closing on Wednesday.

The 6.5% and 5% shares enables the opportunity to buy into the Bjorn Baker trained star who is already a Group Two winner, Group One placed and earner of almost $1.7 million.

The crack filly is currently enjoying a break and will return to the Baker stable to be set for Group One features over the upcoming autumn carnival.

"She's done a remarkable job," trainer Bjorn Baker said. "She's got a real will to win and she's remarkably tough."

"She has competed against the best. Whether that is as a two-year-old or now the best three-year-olds - she's always run well."

"She's twice Group One placed so we are only going to be aiming at Group races (in the Autumn)," Baker added. "I'd love to win a Group One with her."

Within the Law is a winner at 1000 and 1200 metres and is a Group One runner-up twice at 1600 metres.

"These shares offer a rare opportunity to buy into a genuine Group One filly who already has significant residual value," Head of Digital Bryce Bevan said.

"Within The Law had six starts during the Spring Carnival, three of those were at Group One level, the other three being at Group Two, highlighting the calibre of race filly we are dealing with."

"Whoever purchases these unreserved shares will be buying the opportunity to be a part of a very exciting story with a great set of existing connections," Bevan added.

The sale, with 57 lots, will also feature the beautifully bred Gioia River, a full sister to recent Group One VRC Oaks placegetter After Summer and 17 shares in racehorses offered by Bennett Racing (As Agent).

The Bennett Racing offerings include shares in talented gallopers including Extreme Diamond, Texas Tea, Broadbeach Miss and Lexy Rose.

There will also be yearlings, untried two-year-olds, three-year-olds comprising the Celestial Thoroughbreds draft from Western Australia.

Also in the line up are last start winning racehorses as well as broodmares either in foal or with a foal at foot.
