MARGIE’S MUSIC and EYOTA for Ecurie des Monceaux.

A few moments later, Ecurie des Monceaux Director Henri Bozo went to €1 million for MARGIE’S MUSIC (lot 211), already the dam of Classique hope A LA PROCHAINE, Group winner and Deutsches Derby (Gr.1)-placed MR HOLLYWOOD, as well as Group-placed MAGICAL BEAT. She was offered in foal to Night Of Thunder by Haras de la Cour Blanche. A few minutes earlier, he also signed the docket at €660,000 for the Wild Card EYOTA (lot 210), the dam of KISS MELODY, runner-up in the Prix des Réservoirs (Gr.3) this season.

She was offered in foal to St Mark’s Basilica by Haras des Capucines.

“They’re both mares that have proved their quality as broodmares,” said Henri Bozo. “The first, Eyota, is a young mare whose juvenile has made a strong impression. She has also produced a very nice yearling by Dark Angel. She comes from a family that has given us a lot, notably with Mangoustine. The second mare has already produced very good performers and is in foal to an in-demand stallion that is hard to get to. She has all the class of Hurricane Run and Montjeu in her. We’re very happy.”
