Vinery Magic Draft a One Stop Shop

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Sunday January 11

A proven nursery of G1 winning juveniles and also home to one of the hottest young sires in the country in Ole Kirk, Vinery Stud will present a draft at Magic Millions that is a one stop shop for stallion syndicates, racehorse syndicators and everyone in between.

Past Magic Millions drafts from Vinery Stud have produced Golden Slipper winner Farnan, now a leading young sire, Blue Diamond winner Artorius, who has his first yearlings in 2026 and brilliant filly Exhilarates, who won the 2019 Magic Millions 2YO Classic for Godolphin.

Unbeaten G2 winner Lara Antipova was a $100,000 Magic Millions purchase from Vinery last year - Race Images

The trend continues with the Vinery MM draft last year already producing unbeaten Group II winning filly Lara Antipova, who was snapped up by David Ellis for just $100,000 and also promising filly Mystical, who has earned her place in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic next week.

A $425,000 purchase for James Harron Bloodstock/Michael Freedman Racing Filly Partnership/Tony Fung Fillies, the Michael Freedman trained filly was a good second in the Magic Millions Wyong Stakes and closed off nicely in a barrier trial at the Gold Coast earlier this week.

Ole Kirk is one of the best young stallions in the country.

Vinery will present 25 yearlings at Magic Millions and six are by Ole Kirk, who has had a sensational start to the season with a new Group I winner in Ole Dancer, who overpowered red hot favourite Apocalyptic to win the prestigious MRC Thousand Guineas (1600m).

With his oldest progeny just three year-olds, Ole Kirk is running at 8% SW to runner which bodes very well for his long-term future as a serious stallion.
