Share in Debut Runner-Up Popular on Magic Millions Digital

Media Release - Wednesday January 28

A share in recent Magic Millions The Debut runner-up Say You Will has been snapped up by one of the country's leading racehorse owners when selling today on Magic Millions Digital for $30,000.

The 20 per cent share offered by Munce Racing, as agent for an international client, was purchased by Neil Werrett of Werrett Bloodstock.

Eight individual bidders battled it out to secure the share in Say You Will as the thirst for quality bloodstock continued.

"Absolutely thrilled with the results we achieved on the Magic Millions Digital platform this week," trainer Chris Munce said.

"The support from Magic Millions Digital was fantastic and the results really do speak for themselves."

"A great outcome for our owners and our stable," Munce added.

Another Munce Racing offering, a 20 per cent share in Saxon Spirit sold for $13,000 and was subject of 28 bids.

The shares offered by Munce Racing were extremely popular and bidding continued past the final catalogued lot of the sale

The top seller by price in the sale was Lord Momo, an untapped Western Australian maiden galloper who sold to top Perth trainer Brandon Fiore for $50,000.

The son of Contributor was second at his only run to date at Bunbury in December, when he steamed home from 10th at the 400 metre mark to finish under a length behind winner Chino Bay.

Lord Momo attracted strong interest, not only from Western Australians, but also the eastern states.

"The platform is great," Fiore said. "I love buying tried horses and the platform is so easy to use."

"Charlotte (Magic Millions Digital) is a big reason why I purchased the horse. She originally contacted me and pitched him to me and that was probably the difference between me pushing hard to buy him or not."

"The team behind the platform is sensational," Fiore added.

Other vendors who successfully sold horses in the sale include Ciaron Maher Racing, Roll the Dice Racing and Mt Hallowell Stud.

Entries for the next Magic Millions Digital Sale (6-11 Feb) open tomorrow and close on February 4. To learn more about Magic Millions Digital or to lodge an entry click here.
