Bloodstockauction.com Excited to Offer Stakes Quality Duo on Behalf of Sutton Park Racing

Media Release - Friday January 30

In what is becoming the norm for pioneering online bloodstock vendors Bloodstockauction.com, this week’s catalogue features two elite quality gallopers in Sutton Park Racing duo Jealous and Kaluakoi.

Being offered for genuine sale due to the vendor dispersing his property, this exciting duo of gallopers emphasises an outstanding catalogue being offered by the North Sydney based operation.

Kaluakoi wins the Hertz Robin Daley Classic at Cranbourne.

The pair of metropolitan winners is highlighted by $226,000 earner Kaluakoi, a staying son of Zoustar. A graduate of the Danny O’Brien operation, Kaluakoi led throughout to secure the coveted Hertz Robin Daley Classic at Cranbourne as a three-year-old, showing immense potential as a stayer early in his career.

Kaluakoi has continued to develop into a truly untapped prospect as an older horse, recording his most recent victory over 2200m at the Sunshine Coast in late November last year as part of the Chris and Corey Munce stable. A now four-year-old, Kaluakoi was a dominant winner on this occasion, settling on speed to draw away and win impressively.

Kaluakoi last raced on January 3rd, finishing fourth in the Shoot Out Stakes over 2100m at Eagle Farm behind Sun Worshipper. He led once again on this occasion, holding off a swarm of closers including former VRC Derby winner, Manzoice.

In addition to Kaluakoi, Sutton Park and Bloodstockauction.com are excited to have consistent staying mare, Jealous, head through the virtual ring. A winner of three of her 27 starts, Jealous has also recorded nine minor placings.

Jealous Wins at the Sunshine Coast .

A daughter of Nicconi, Jealous is a metropolitan winner. Formerly trained by Robert Heathcote, Jealous was a winner between 1200-1800m, racing well out to the mile-and-a-half.

The now five-year-old mare has done her most recent racing in Victoria, finishing a gallant third at Pakenham only two starts ago over 2500m. She raced wide and without cover on this occasion, battling on strongly to hold third for trainer Mark Walker.

Out of Stakes-Placed Encosta De Lago mare, Jujube (a half-sister to Group One winner Marble Halls), Jealous is a half-sister to both Hong Kong expat Remarkable and Stakes-Placed mare Star Of Eden.

Only lowly rated as a BM64, Jealous still harbours great potential both on and off the track due to her impeccable pedigree.

With this sale heading live now on January 30th (CLICK HERE) and ending on February 3rd, make sure to head to Bloodstockauction.com to check out these incredible lots and many more.
