Twin Hills Stud are presenting a great draft of 12 yearlings at Inglis Classic including four by the farm’s G1 Blue Diamond winning first season sire Daumier, while the pedigree standout of the draft is also the only filly in the sale by reigning champion sire Zoustar.
If you can imagine a filly that combines the blood of the very best stallions in the world then Lot 563 is that filly.

By Zoustar, she is the second foal of winning Frankel mare Von Trapp, whose next dam is by Dubawi.
Frankel and Dubawi both stand at a fee of £350,000 in the UK in 2026, while Zoustar stood last spring at Widden Stud at a fee of $275,000.
“Zoustar fillies are lethal and this one is bred to be very good,” said Olly Tait of Twin Hills Stud.
“The most influential stallions of the past 20 years appear close up in her pedigree. She looks sharp, has a beautiful hindquarter and a lovely action.”
Her dam Von Trapp was competitive with the best 3 year old fillies of her generation when she was fourth in the Group II ATC Tea Rose Stakes and this elite European female family has given us champion racehorse and now champion Australian sire Too Darn Hot (GB).
This filly has a two year-old full sister called Next Surprise that is in work with Tony Gollan and her dam Von Trapp has a yearling filly by Pierro to follow and was covered by Farnan last spring, so there is more in the pipeline to offer future residual value.

The first yearlings by Daumier were well received at Magic Millions last month with colts from Virgo and Toowoomba Tycoon selling for $110,000 and $90,000, while his top selling filly from Dominant Lady made $85,000.
“The Daumier yearlings have impressed so far and these Classic youngsters are another lovely example of what he produces - strength, athleticism and a good attitude, which will hopefully combine for speed,” Tait said.

Lot 64 Colt In The Congo x Highland Dress, by Zoustar

From the first crop of Autumn Glow’s G1 winning three-quarter brother In The Congo. Second foal of an unraced half-sister to this seasons G2 winning 3YO West of Swindon. Third dam is G3 winning blue hen Dane Belltar, the dam of triple G1 winning $3.8million earner Fawkner and G2 winning $1.1million earner Tanby.
Olly Tait - The In The Congo colt is well balanced and well conformed. He moves nicely and has a nice head. The first crop of yearlings by his sire have sold very well so far and this colt has a strong pedigree to match his looks.
Lot 132 Filly Brutal x Leading Lady, by Maurice (Jpn)

By a young sire in Brutal, who has already produced G1 winner Nepotism and SW fillies Harlem Queen and Jenni’s Meadow. First foal of winning grand-daughter of G1 placed SW Prima Nova and fourth dam is G1 winner Bonanova, the full sister to two more G1 winners in Telesto and Fraternity.
Olly Tait - This is a very attractive filly with plenty of scope. Given her looks and pedigree she will be best suited when racing over a mile plus. She has a beautiful pedigree and her sire, Brutal, is trending in the right direction.
Lot 423 Filly Captivant x Shivani, by Sebring

From the second crop of Captivant, who has already sired a winner and is the third foal of a metro winning half-sister to this season’s G1 placed G3 winner My Gladiola from brilliantly fast G2 winner Villa Verde.
This family is very much on the move with Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Unit Five now on the page as well as promising colt Confederation, who was second on debut in the G3 ATC Canonbury Stakes last Saturday.
Olly Tait - This is a classy filly with a classy pedigree. She has plenty of scope, moves well and has a lovely outlook. There is so much happening in her pedigree and she is one to consider as a future broodmare as well as a racehorse.
