The Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale kicked off on Thursday and it didn’t take long for the sale ring to light up with Lot 25, the half-sister by Zoustar to G1 Blue Diamond contender Chayan selling for $525,000.

Consigned by Ridgeport Holdings, the athletic bay filly always looked a standout on pedigree and was duly snapped up by astute Victorian bloodstock agent Sheamus Mills.
She is the fifth foal of Group III winning Snitzel mare Lubiton, a grand-daughter of Group I STC Coolmore Classic winner Camino Rose.
The first three foals from Lubiton all came out and won, while her fourth is I Am Invincible filly Chayan, who was a fast finishing second on debut two weeks ago in the Group II MRC Blue Diamond Prelude won by Streisand.
The Rob and Annabel Archibald trained filly has accepted for the Blue Diamond with Lachlan Neindorf sticking with Chayan, who has drawn out in 15.
The sale of the Zoustar filly, who was foaled at Yarraman Park, is a great result for her breeder Santo Guagliardo of Ridgeport Holdings as they purchased Lubiton for $400,000 from the 2024 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
Lubiton was in foal to Zoustar with the resulting filly recouping the investment and then some at the Swan Valley sales complex today.
Lubiton had no foal last year after missing to Brave Smash, but is now safely back in foal to Chayan’s sire I Am Invincible.
