Third Winner for Wild Ruler

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday February 25

Fresh from siring Stretan Ruler to win the Group II ATC Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday, Newgate Farm young gun Wild Ruler added a third winner to his tally on Tuesday.

The Stuart Kendrick trained filly Another Champers opened her account with a debut win at Rockhampton over 1100m in the $25,000 TAB Jewel Qualifier Plate.

She progressed from a good trial effort at Sunshine Coast earlier this month to score by more than a length.

Another Champers was an $80,000 Magic Millions purchase.

An $80,000 Magic Millions purchase for her trainer from the Eureka Stud draft, Another Champers is the first foal of Miss Clicquot, a winning sister to stakes-winner Perudo from the family of Group I winner Scenic Peak.
