The rising three-year-old filly will take part in an unofficial jumpout at Geelong on Wednesday as part of large Lindsay Park Racing contingent.

Oscietra has not raced since finishing third on debut over 1000m at Flemington on New Year's Day to subsequent Group III Blue Diamond Preview winner Limestone.

The daughter of Exceed And Excel was being prepared for races in the autumn but after finishing second in a jumpout at Flemington in April was returned to the spelling paddock to mature further.

Regan Bayliss will partner Oscietra on the all-weather surface at Geelong and Tom Dabernig, who trains the filly in partnership with David and Ben Hayes, said it was a way of finding out if she handled the surface.

"Our decision to give her a jumpout at Geelong is to see what she's like there," Dabernig said.

"If it's too wet on the turf and we want to kick her off in a maiden there, then we could."

Lindsay Park Racing has enjoyed success in the past with maidens at with the synthetic track at Geelong and Dabernig said Wednesday's jumpout will be followed by another at Flemington before deciding on when and where Oscietra resumes.

"Horses like Keen Array and Stay With Me won their maidens on the synthetic, so that's not an issue," Dabernig said. "It depends on when she's ready to race and what is available."
