Snitzel Filly Wins 2YO Trial for Singo

Tara Madgwick - Friday September 7
A juvenile heat at the Warwick Farm barrier trials on Friday morning was won in good style by Snitzel filly Diddles, who runs in the colours of John Singleton's Strawberry Hill Stud.

Diddles as a yearlingA $400,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Segenhoe Stud draft, Diddles is trained by Clarry Conners, who has enjoyed plenty of success with John Singleton having won the Golden Slipper for him in 2000 with Belle du Jour, who was also a Magic Millions purchase.

Diddles jumped smartly and led all the way for Tommy Berry to win the 794 metre trial by two and a half lengths. She looked fast and professional as she should given her pedigree.
