Canterbury Treble for Triple Crown

Tara Madgwick - Saturday November 17
The last race at Canterbury on Friday night was won by progressive Your Song gelding Poetic Charmer, who was the third winner on the night for Triple Crown Syndications adding to earlier victories by Reelem in Ruby and Wooshka.

Your SongTrainer by Peter and Paul Snowden as were the previous winners, Poetic Charmer was having his second run back from a spell and led all the way for Tommy Berry to win by a length over 1200 metres as favourite.

Poetic Charmer was a $65,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Triple Crown Syndications / Snowden Racing and has the overall record of two wins and five placings from 12 starts with prizemoney just shy of $100,000.

He is the first foal of multiple stakes-winning juvenile Hoss Amor, who has a yearling filly by Hinchinbrook, but sadly lost a colt foal by I Am Invincible this spring that died after birth.

Triple Crown have already enjoyed success with Poetic Charmer's sire Your Song as they race another of his smart geldings in Your Song in Brave Song, who won a Listed race at Caulfield during the spring and has banked over $344,000.
