Juvenile Winner for All Too Hard

The leading Australian third crop sire by winners, All Too Hard added a juvenile debut winner to his tally at Geelong on Thursday when the Darren Weir trained Better Harden Up gave her big team of Blueblood Thoroughbreds owners a great start to the New Year.

All Too Hard has sired 59 winners this seasonShe enjoyed a nice run in transit for Dean Yendall tracking the leaders on the fence and unwound a strong finish to beat the favourite, a Snitzel filly called Favourite Things, by a head.

A $65,000 Magic Millions purchase for Blueblood Thoroughbreds from the Baramul Stud draft, Better Harden Up is the first winner for Yalatif, a Hussonet (USA) grand-daughter of Christmas Spirit, whose descendants include Group I winners Bentley Biscuit and Thorn Park.

Baramul Stud will offer the current yearling from Yalatif, a filly by Exosphere, at Magic Millions as Lot 299.

All Too Hard has sired 59 winners this season putting him marginally ahead of archrival Pierro on the score of seasonal winners.
