New Website for Randwick Bloodstock

Media Release - Monday October 14

Randwick Bloodstock are pleased to launch their new website.

www.randwickbloodstock.com.au

The site features a more user friendly layout and also embraces the social media platforms Facebook and Twitter.

We expect users will be able to navigate their way around our new website in an easier fashion. At the same time we have still retained a lot of the useful information which was on the old website, however the new site allows us to take advantage of both Twitter feeds and Facebook, where we plan to supply our followers and clients with more information and feedback on our listings, plus more up to date helpful and insightful industry information.

RBA continues to achieve excellent results for both sellers and buyers who utilise our services.

If selling please be aware our minimum listing price is currently $20,000.

If buying and you are in the market for stock worth over $100,000 I would recommend contacting me direct as very few of these listings make it to the website. Most vendors of the more valuable mares are asking us to be more discreet, so we tend to offer this stock direct rather than advertise publicly.

We are proud of the fact we are able to sell the majority of the mares listed with us while the buyers whom have purchased privately through RBA continue to reap some tremendous rewards. A couple of recent examples include RUBIMILL, the dam of the promising NZ 3yo stakes winner EL ROCA, and SHE'S NOT, purchased for $40,000 off the track in 2012, then mated to FOXWEDGE ($30,000 service fee) and resold at this year's Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale for $210,000.

Apart from private sales we are also happy to assist with the purchase of stock at auction. In recent times 15% (and rising) of our broodmare purchases have produced a stakes winner after purchase.

I'm not sure how these stats compare with other breeders or agents, but if they are better than your own stats you might like to give us a try. In many instances our charge for auction sales work will amount to less than one bid.

Some recent success stories for mares purchased at auction include OOMPH, dam of 2013-2014 season's Group 2 & Group 3 winner THUMP, as well as RHIANNA LOUISE, dam of PEPPERWOOD, a multiple stakes winner whose earnings have now passed the $1 million mark.

In 2013 RBA has also been able to place several well credentialled Group winning stallion prospects. These have included FASTNET ROCK's Group 2 winner HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (to Berkley Stud, NZ), NEEDS FURTHER, a Group 3 winning son of ENCOSTA DE LAGO (to Armidale Stud, Tas) and GOLDEN ARCHER, a multiple Group & Listed Race winner by ROCK OF GIBRALTAR (to Raheen Stud, Qld). If you are in the market for a new stallion for 2014, please feel free to call or email us. We have a good idea on what is available and what is likely to become available.
