I Am Invincible Winner South Africa

Three year-old I Am Invincible colt Akwaan opened his account with an easy win at Vaal in South Africa on Thursday.

Trained by Mike de Kock for Shadwell, Akwaan had placed twice previously and broke through with a two length victory over 1400 metres.

A $500,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Coolmore draft, Akwaan is the second winner from stakes-winning Fastnet Rock mare Born to Rock.
