Vinery Stud will present a select draft of four for the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale next week and they include two by the farm’s promising young sire Exceedance, not to mention the half-sister to $1.3million earner Strait Acer.

The historic Wakefield Stud, the birthplace of Melbourne Cup winner Subzero, has been purchased by the owners of another historic Scone farm, Middlebrook Valley Lodge. The farm was officially settled during the week, and the new owners are excited to see the farm return to it’s former glory days.
