Hong Kong Winner for Deep Field

The Breednet ‘One to Watch’ Teramia was not the only smart three year-old winner on Sunday for Deep Field, who also featured at Sha Tin where True Legend opened his account.

True Legend was a $530,000 Inglis Easter yearling purchaseTrained by Frankie Lor, True Legend was easy in the market at just his third race start but led all the way to score a short head win over the favourite

A $530,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the Segenhoe draft for Lucky Owners Pty Ltd, True Legend was the most expensive yearling by his sire sold at that sale.

True Legend is a half-brother to Group II placed God of Thunder and is the second winner from Group I placed Fastnet Rock mare Jolie Bay, a full sister to dual Group I winner and Royal Ascot hero Merchant Navy.

He is the third winner in Hong Kong for Deep Field from just seven starters.
