Invincible Winner in South Africa

Three year-old I Am Invincible colt Akwaan posted his third win with an easy victory at Vaal in South Africa on Thursday.

Trained by Mike de Kock for Shadwell, Akwaan scored by two and a quarter lengths over 1600 metres as favourite and has now won three times and placed twice from seven starts.

A $500,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Shadwell from the Coolmore draft, Akwaan is the second winner from stakes-winning Fastnet Rock mare Born to Rock, who died in 2018.
