A homebred for Ridgemont Stud that passed in when offered or sale in Australia and was then sent to South Africa, the Brett Crawford trained Real Gone Kid took the 1250m maiden by two and three-quarter lengths at his second start.
Real Gone Kid is the first foal of Champion South African 3YO Filly In the Fast Lane, who had two foals in Australia by Snitzel before being exported to Ireland.
The dual Group I winner is a half-sister to Champion South African 3YO Colt Let’s Rock’n Roll as well as three other stakes-winners.
