If you’re a fan of a flashy baldy faced chestnut, you would have had the trifecta in race 1 at Warwick Farm.
A competitive group of three year-olds went around in the 1100m maiden at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and while $2.8million Inglis Easter sale-topper Mount Fuji had to settle for second, he did enough to suggest a win will not be far away.
The high profile Peter and Paul Snowden trained Snitzel colt was ridden quietly by Tim Clark and hit the line strongly for second beaten a neck by the well supported Not a Single Doubt gelding Dance.

Dance was offered at the June Inglis Digital Sale where he was snapped up by Bjorn Baker Racing for $135,000 and subsequently spelled and gelded.
“He was an expensive yearling, but it just didn’t work out for him as a colt,” said Stephen McLean representing Bjorn Baker.
“Now he’s gelded it’s working out for us and hopefully this is the start of something good.”
Dance is the first winner for Tango, an unraced full sister to Group III winner Lunar Rise and half-sister to stakes-winner Crafty from the family of Arc winner Peintre Celebre.
Arrowfield Stud will offer a full sister to Dance at Magic Millions as Lot 868.
