Kosciuszko Next for Exciting 3YO Nadaraja

A Redoute’s Choice colt that was withdrawn from Inglis Easter and retained to race by Kia Ora Stud has now secured his place in the $1.3million Kosciuszko after bolting in at Scone on Friday, his dam set to be covered by Kia Ora Stud’s young sire Prague.

The Stephen Jones trained Nadaraja made it three wins in a row when lugging 59kg to another easy victory in the 1100m Class Two event.

and given time to mature, Nadaraja has been on a steep upward trajectory finishing second on debut at Muswellbrook on July 31 before winning his next three starts with his earnings now just shy of $60,000.

Bred by Kia Ora Stud, Nadaraja is the third winner from National Anthem, a half-sister by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE) to champion sprinter and Group I sire Starspangledbanner and to the dam of Group I winner Amicus.

 


National Anthem has a yearling colt by Deep Field and recently produced a filly foal by the same sire.
