101, a filly by ill-fated Duramente from Group I winning Darshaan mare Necklace, was bought by Satomi Oka Bloodstock for Yulong’s Zhang Yue Sheng for just ¥21,000,000 (A$226,938).

Duramente died prematurely last year but has been in hot form this year siring Group I winners Stars on Earth and Titleholder.

The filly comes from an outstanding European female family with Necklace being a grand-daughter of Group I Irish Oaks winner and blue hen Colorspin, the dam of Group I stars Opera House, Kay Tara and Zee Zee Top (dam of Group I winner Izzi Top).

She was consigned by Champions Farm, who purchased a Frankel filly from Lake Hamana (GB)  for $500,000 from the Yulong Inglis Easter draft in 2020.
