G2 placed Barbie's Fox headlines diverse October (Early) Online Sale

Group placed 3YO Barbie’s Fox – who has defeated the likes of Snapdancer, Lyre, Flit, Missile Mantra etc – is one of a number of appealing entries in the Inglis Digital October (Early) Online auction.

The diverse catalogue - which is now online and open for bidding at inglisdigital.com – of 256 entries consists of 160 racehorses (including 83 race fillies), 53 broodmares, 20 yearlings, 19 racehorse shares and four unbroken stock.

Barbie’s Fox (Foxwedge) is sure to attract the attention of racing and breeding proponents alike.

A winner at two and three, Barbie’s Fox was third in the G2 Thousand Guineas Prelude over 1400m at Caulfield as a Spring 3YO with the likes of Snapdancer, Missile Mantra, La Falaise, Lyre, Flit, Tenley and She Shao Fly in arrears.

Her most recent victory came at Caulfield just three starts ago and since then she has competed exclusively at Stakes level.

Buyers will no doubt be buoyed by the continued ongoing success of Inglis Digital graduates, who have enjoyed 654 Australian race wins this season for $9,706,862 in prizemoney.

In another exciting coup for the platform this week, it was confirmed that G1 winner Private Eye – of which a 5% share was sold on Inglis Digital just last month – would race in the Inglis slot in next weekend’s $15m The Everest.

Meanwhile, the Jack Bruce-trained Axe has been named the Inglis Digital Horse of the Month for September.

Bruce, who took out his trainers’ licence and moved to Queensland earlier this year to start training in his own right, purchased Axe for $55,000 in the Inglis Digital March (Late) Sale earlier this year.

He has raced twice since for a win in the Listed Weetwood Handicap at Toowoomba a fortnight ago and a narrow second behind Inglis Classic graduate Garibaldi in the Listed Goldmarket Handicap.

Axe won $87,000 in September alone and joins Castrofrancaru (August Horse of the Month) in the running to be named the Inglis Digital Horse of the Year and win a $25,000 credit on the platform.
