An Expensive Justify and Brilliant Trapeze Artist Steal The Show at Friday's Trials

Breednet - Friday November 18

The most expensive southern hemisphere filly by Justify out of a dual Group One winner, and a brilliant display by a daughter of Trapeze Artist produced plenty of interest at the Warwick Farm barrier trials on Friday.

Just Glamourous

There were five heats with Heat 11 won by Just Glamourous, a filly by Justify out of Global Glamour winner of the 2016 Group One Thousand Guineas and Group One Flight Stakes.

Just Glamourous is the second foal of his dam and was sold to his trainers, the Waterhouse/Bott team, and Bruce Slade’s Kestrel Thoroughbreds from the Coolmore Stud draft for $900,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Finding the front soon after jumping, Facile went right away under only moderate riding to win by over four lengths.

She was a $420,000 buy for her trainers Gerald Ryan and Sterling Alexiou from the Widden Stud draft at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

There were three other heats for the juveniles.

Heat eight was won by The Little Pumper (Shalaa x Sensibility), a $120,000 yearling also for the Waterhouse/Bott/Kestrel team from the Valiant Stud draft at Inglis Classic, having his second trial.

Heat nine was won by Luna Field, a colt by Deep Field from Delaluna.

He was a $375,000 buy for Bjorn Baker, All Winners Thoroughbreds and Clarke Bloodstock from the Ashleigh Thoroughbreds draft at Magic Millions Gold Coast.
