First Season Sires Unraced Trial Report

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday November 23

Last season there was plenty of interest in Breednet’s unraced trial report for first season sires highlighting what is in the pipeline for these young sires as we work through spring and head towards the first big juvenile goal of 2023 the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

In the past 10 days we’ve seen trial winners for Justify (USA), Lean Mean Machine, Performer, Saxon Warrior (Jpn), The Autumn Sun and Trapeze Artist.

Saxon Warrior sired a G1 winner in his first NH crop and had a trial winner here on Tuesday.

Saxon Warrior had a smart trial winner on Tuesday in Weigall Tiger, read more here.

Justify and Trapeze Artist both had good winners at Randwick last Friday, read about them here.

The Autumn Sun looks to have one ready to go in the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained colt Deciduous, read about him here.
