Early final field betting picture for the Caulfield Guineas

Brad Waters - Tuesday October 10

Long-time favourite Royal Symphony holds favouritism after drawing the middle of the line in Saturday's Group I Caulfield Guineas.

Royal Symphony drew barrier nine after connections initially believed they had drawn barrier six at Tuesday's barrier drawn but the colt is trading between $3.80 and $4.50 in the opening final field markets on the $2 million event.

Blue Diamond winner Catchy and the Caulfield Guineas Prelude third placegetter Kementari are vying for second favouritism with new bookmaker Neds showing respect for Kementari by posting the Godolphin colt at $4.40.

Bookies have Catchy at quotes between $4.60 and $5.50 while the Kiwi galloper Summer Passage, who was second in the Caulfield Guineas Prelude, is as short as $9.

Below is the opening final field market on Saturday's Group I Caulfield Guineas.
