The Magic Millions Weanling Sale is packed with opportunity and given the sale produced a filly by The Autumn Sun from Via Africa (SAfr) that sold for $600,000 and then went on to top the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale this year at $1.8million, we’ve decided to take a look at some of the pedigree highlights.

Lot 277 Colt I Am Invincible  x Melba Avenue by Street Sense (USA) – Yarraman Park

The only weanling in the sale by champion sire I Am Invincible and is a half-brother to G2 winner Valour Road.

 

Lot 220 Colt Written Tycoon x Ineffable, by Smart Missile – Parsons Creek

Three-quarter brother-in-blood to Golden Slipper winning Champion 2YO Colt and now leading young sire Capitalist.

 

Lot 455 Colt Hanseatic x Forget the Weather (USA), by Stormy Atlantic – Coolmore

From first crop of speedy 2YO Hanseatic. Half-brother to G1 winning sprinter Bella Vella.

From first crop of Golden Slipper winner Farnan and is a three-quarter sister to G2 winner Quackerjack.

Half-brother to G2 winner Reelem in Ruby

 

Lot 354 Filly Hellbent x Rose of Mulan, by More Than Ready (USA) – Yarraman Park

Half-sister to G2 winner Shades of Rose and G3 winner Scallopini.

 

Lot 394 Colt Capitalist x Sister Madly, by Redoute’s Choice – Segenhoe Stud

Half-brother to four winners  from G2 winner Sister Madly, a half-sister to world champion sprinter Silent Witness.

 

Lot 11 Colt Toronado (IRE) x Wawail, by Lonhro – Three Bridges Thoroughbreds

Half-brother to SW Desi Prince from G2 winner Wawail, a half-sister to dual G1 winner Al Muthana.

 

Lot 126 Colt Zoustar x Delectation Girl (GB), by Delegator – Milburn Creek

First foal of multiple European Group winner that was also fourth in G1 ATC Queen of the Turf Stakes.

 

Lot 222 Colt Farnan x Insta Erma (USA), by Pioneerof the Nile – Vinery Stud

Third foal of US G1 placed and G3 winner Insta Erma.

 

Lot 189 Filly Wootton Bassett (GB) x Full of Spirit, by Flying Spur – Three Bridges Thoroughbreds

Half-sister to three winners from G1 placed G3 winner Full of Spirit, a half-sister to NZ Horse of the Year Bonneval from blue hen Imposingly.
