Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Strike at Goffs London Sale

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday June 20

The Goffs London Sale is held on the eve of Royal Ascot in the heart of London at Kensington Place Gardens and traditionally showcases tried horses that are entered for Royal Ascot with the top lot a two year-old colt called Givemethebeatboys that sold for £1,100,000 and he holds an entry for the Group II Coventry Stakes.

Trained by Jessica Harrington, the son of Exceed and Excel stallion Bungle Inthejungle has won both of two starts to date heading to Ascot off a win in the Group III Marble Hill Stakes at The Curragh.

He was bought by Con and Neil Sands of Bronsan Racing with Hubie de Burgh bidding on their behalf.

Gai Waterhouse has always been a supporter of this sale purchasing Epsom Derby runner-up Hoo Ya Mal last year for £1,200,000.

With the assistance of McKeever Bloodstock, she purchased two more horses this year in Cuban Dawn for £300,000 and New Endeavour for £260,000.
