2YO Watch Races at Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday July 19

The season might be drawing to a close but there are plenty of unexposed juveniles looking to put a win on the board to put themselves in the picture for early spring stakes races and several are engaged at Warwick Farm today.

Invader had a brilliant two year-old winner on Tuesday in Mount Olympus and he could get another this afternoon with well bred Coincide returning as gelding after initial campaigns when he matched strides with the likes of Barber and Don Corleone. This Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained half-brother to dual Group I winner Converge has been trialling nicely.

Godolphin juveniles have been hard to beat of late and they take the wraps of Hanau, a Snitzel colt from a full sister to Pierro, while Chris Waller will send out two expensive colts by Zoustar and I Am Invincible in Northern Eyes and Prairie Legend.

The Waterhouse and Bott stable will be hard to beat in the fillies division with Capitalist filly Love and Light beating all bar Godolphin blueblood filly Shaken when she was second on debut at Wyong so she will have a fitness edge ion a few of these including promising unraced I Am Invincible filly Fickle, who has looked sharp at the trials, but has drawn very wide.

Drawn to get all the favours is Rubick filly French Endeavour, whose only start back in February was a third to subsequent Group I placed juveniles Bases Loaded and Pier Pressure. On that form with two trials under her belt she might be the horse to beat!
