Supplementary entries finalised as build-up to Inglis Breeding Stock Sales intensifies

Media Release - Wednesday May 1
The final catalogue for next week’s Chairman’s Sale has been finalised with eight supplementary entries added to proceedings.
The additions are headed by three-time G1 placed 3YO filly Tutta La Vita, who is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect and targeting the G1 Queensland Oaks in June, a race for which she is currently $8 third favourite with Ladbrokes.
The other supplementary entries are G3-winning Pierro mare Pierossa, a breeding right in popular young stallion Pierata, G1 Australian Oaks runner up So Dazzling, Stakes winners Street Gossip and West Of Dalby, the lightly raced four-time winner Eagle Nest and Youthfull, a sister to G1 winner and promising young stallion D’Argento.
Pierossa
They join the likes of She’s Extreme, Startantes, Kimochi, Pennyweka, Autumn Ballet, C’est Magique, Hope In Your Heart, Foxy Frida, Spright, Steinem, Monte Invincible, Parmalove, Pinocchio, Breakfast In Bed, Pick Me Up, Ippodamia’s Girl, Banana Queen, Lempicka, Sky Rumba, Chassis, Magic Feathers, Luna Dorada etc as entries in the star-studded catalogue.
The full catalogue is now available online at inglis.com.au and each mare being offered has a pedigree analysis for potential stallions provided exclusively by G1 Goldmine.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch described the Chairman’s catalogue as "world class".
“The Chairman’s Sale has developed into one of the showpiece events on the international bloodstock calendar and the catalogue this year is nothing short of fantastic,’’ Hutch said.
“It is by far the best group of race fillies that we have had for the sale and the scope for upside with the likes of Tutta La Vita, Kimochi, C’est Magique and others is very significant.
“The reputation of the sale is now such that investors come to the sale knowing that there are mares in the sale that will become producers of significance in years to come – it’s very much a ‘must-attend’.
“Chairman’s is the most fun sale of the year and is part of a big week at Riverside, which also includes the Australian Weanling Sale and Australian Broodmare Sale.
“Across the Chairman’s Sale and the Australian Broodmare Sale there are 141 fillies or mares catalogued that are black type performers or producers, which is over 46% of the total lots, which demonstrates the quality on offer through the two days of mare selling.
“The weanling catalogue is going to be the biggest collection of weanlings for the year and when you consider that Hayasugi, Kimochi, Straight Charge and Master Fay have come out of the sale, as well as a host of successful pinhooks, it is a very important sale.”
The last two G1 Golden Slipper-winning colts, Stay Inside and Shinzo were bought in utero at the Chairman’s Sale and there was yet further evidence of the quality on offer at the sale when Invincible Sage won the G1 Chairman’s Sprint Prize at Sha Tin on Sunday.
His dam, Thorsborne, was purchased for $140,000 from the draft of Newgate Farm by Sun Bloodstock at the Chairman’s Sale in 2018.
The 2024 Inglis Chairman’s Sale will begin at 5pm Thursday May 10 at Riverside.
