Current stars Switzerland, Growing Empire, Joliestar, Lady Shenandoah, Overpass, Zougotcha, Autumn Glow, Climbing Star, Autumn Angel, to name but a few, are recent graduates of the sale.

It is many a dynasty that has begun at the Easter Yearling Sale, as evidenced by the number of young Easter graduates at stud – Home Affairs, The Autumn Sun, Exceedance, Super Seth, In The Congo, Wild Ruler and many others looking to emulate their predecessors like Fastnet Rock, Exceed And Excel and Flying Spur.

No less impressive is the legion of brilliant runners produced from mares originally sourced from Easter as yearlings – Lady Of Camelot, Shinzo, Fangirl, Celestial Legend, Coolangatta, Climbing Star, Estijaab, Classique Legend etc.

It is the very epitome of a breed-shaping sale.

Inglis sales have also produced more G1 winners overall, more G1-winning fillies, more winners of the $1m+ races, more Hong Kong winners and more international G1 winners than the nearest competitor since 2018, with Easter playing a significant role in that success.

Inglis Bloodstock CEO Sebastian Hutch is delighted with the quality and depth of this year’s Easter catalogue.

“Statistically, Easter is the sale most likely to produce buyers a top class racehorse and that’s what everybody is looking for,’’ Hutch said.

“The Easter Yearling Sale is the sale most likely to produce a G1 winner, more likely to produce a 2YO Group winner and has comfortably the best Stakes winners/runners ratio than any of the Southern Hemisphere yearling sales.

“Year after year, it is the ‘Best of the Best’ – best breeders showcasing their best yearlings at the best venue in the world to offer horses.

“As always it’s just such a fabulous time to be in Sydney, there’s Days 1 and 2 of The Championships, the Inglis Easter Sale, as well as everything that the Harbour City has to offer, we can’t wait!’’

All yearlings purchased at the Easter Sale have the opportunity to nominate for the lucrative Inglis Race Series.

Hard copies of the Easter catalogue will be available within a fortnight.
