Miranda Park is presenting a draft of five for Inglis Premier and they include a half-sister to their million dollar earning multiple Group winner Sirileo Miss and a colt that is the mirror image of his sire Hanseatic.

Gary O’Meara has had plenty of success breeding from Galileo (IRE) mare She’s Sirius, who has had seven winners from eight foals to race headed by four time Group winning mare Sirileo Miss (G2 MVRC Sunline Stakes, G3 VRC Matron Stakes, G3 MRC Ladies Day Vase, twice) and stakes-placed Sophia’s Choice with her yearling filly by Hanseatic to be offered as Lot 459.

Hanseatic half-sister to Sirileo Miss.

“There’s no guess-work required when buying a daughter of She’s Sirius,” said O’Meara.

“Just like her million dollar earning half-sister, Sirileo Miss (by Pride of Dubai), this filly’s sire is bred on the same Street Cry x Danehill cross.

“A strong, scopey filly with a brilliant temperament, she looks certain to add to her dam’s record of producing fast, high class, sprinter-milers. This athletic, sound filly, has perfect x-rays, and she has obvious residual value.”

Hanseatic has made a pleasing start to his stud career producing a metro winner in Tiz Worthy, as well as stakes-placed Bermondsey and Rohesia, and the lightning fast son of Street Boss (USA) is also the sire of Lot 203, a colt from Highfalutin Gal.

Hanseatic colt from Highfalutin Girl.

He is the first foal of a young winning All Too Hard daughter of Group II placed stakes-winner Marquardt, who is by influential sire Shamardal (USA).

“This compact, beautifully balanced colt has all the hallmarks of a fast two year old. His granddam was a  multiple stakes-winner at two, and he carries a double cross of the blue hen mares Scandinavia and Helen Street (Breednet ran a story on line breeding to Helen Street this week, read more here.).

“Interestingly, a few of the most promising Hanseatic progeny to emerge are out of All Too Hard mares, just like this colt. It is extraordinary the extent to which Hanseatic has stamped him.”

Below are the additional three horses with comments from Gary O’Meara.

Lot 72 Filly Pierata x Blackboots, by Wandjina

By promising young sire of Group winners Coleman and Tobeornottobe. First foal of metro winning daughter of stakes-placed Total Response from the family of Group I winner Savatoxl..

Well-proportioned, neat, first foal, this filly is an agile and fluent mover, she has made fantastic progress throughout the prep, and her even temper has made her a favourite of the staff. There are plenty of black-type fillies on her page, and it is the family of Group One sprinter SAVATOXL.  This filly will continue to improve; she presents as a great investment for the future.

Lot 137 Colt Kermadec (NZ) x Destiny Diamond, Raphael’s Cat

By proven G1 sire Kermadec and is first foal of metro winning half-sister to the dam of stakes-winner In the Boat from the family of Group I winner of Humidor.

A well grown, strong colt, he is bred on the cross (Kermadec is by Humidor’s sire Teofilo) that produced Humidor and is a direct descendant of champion Habibti. This colt looks like a tough, ready-made racehorse and with perfect x-rays and a powerful physique, this colt is a real trainer’s horse.

Lot 756 Colt Headwater x Silk Belt (NZ), by Alamosa

By prolific sire of winners and SW’s and is third foal of juvenile winner and Group II placed Silk Belt.

Here is a colt that has a temperament to match his striking good looks. He looks like he will go early, and train on to be a durable older horse. This colt has strength, balance and athleticism. He has been a very rewarding colt to prepare, having shown continual physical improvement, and a great attitude to his work. He has a super appetite, is very tractable, and most importantly, he looks fast!
