Yarraman Park's Hellbent was always going to have a good sale at Magic Millions with his best ever draft of yearlings to be offered and a slew of smart gallopers racing up a storm over the summer and on Wednesday he made a splash with a cracking filly that sold for $600,000.
Offered by Widden Stud, the filly is the third foal from Group III placed Street Cry (IRE) mare La Tigeresa and was knocked down to Michael Freedman Racing/AWB.

She is now the highest priced yearling ever sired by Hellbent.
“Hellbent is doing a super job, particularly with his fillies,” said Michael Freedman.
“A really good job all round. She’s a lovely moving filly and looked quite sharp off a very good farm in Widden.
“I love buying off a good farm, so she ticked a lot boxes.”
La Tigeresa produced a colt foal by Hellbent last spring.
Yarraman Park were also well rewarded for a Hellbent filly from Bonita Aurelia(NZ) that sold to Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott/Kestrel Thoroughbreds for $350,000.
Hellbent has 12 more yearlings to be offered.
