Sneak Peek Inglis Easter

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday March 26
The first yearling images for the 2019 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale are being uploaded and among them is the three-quarter brother to Australia's best three year old colt The Autumn Sun.

To be offered by Arrowfield Stud as Lot 369 is the Not a Single Doubt colt from Galileo mare Azmiyna (IRE), whose first three foals including The Autumn Sun have all sold for big money at this sale. She had a Redoute's Choice colt make $650,000 in 2016, then The Autumn Sun (also by Redoute's Choice) made $700,000 in 2017 and last year her Snitzel filly made $1.3 million.

What price for this colt?

If you are in the market for a classic colt it would be tough to go past Lot 200 from Three Bridges Thoroughbreds. A strapping colt by Tavistock that is the first foal of Group I Queensland Oaks winner Provocative.

A colt with a serious stallions pedigree is Lot 46 from Vinery Stud by Written Tycoon from Hot Summer Night. He is a half-brother to Group II winner Summer Sham and is his third dam is blue hen Shantha's Choice.

A filly from the family of Golden Slipper winner Kiamichi has the sort of residual value investors love. Offered by Turangga Farm is Lot 52, a filly by Written Tycoon from Impeach, who is a half-sister to the dam of Kiamichi.

Mill Park will offer the latest yearling from their exceptional producer Dane Belltar, the dam of millionaire performers Fawkner and Tanby. Offered as Lot 417, he is a colt by More Than Ready (USA), whose final crop of Australian foals will be born this spring.
