Stratosphere is by champion sire Snitzel"Stratosphere had an unbelievable amount of ability, he would have been a Golden Slipper contender and a definite Gr. 1 horse" - Jockey Glyn Schofield

"He was the standout of our 2YO's. I only take elite horses to group races first up and I thought Stratosphere was just that" - Trainer Peter Snowden

Stratosphere is by Australia's champion sire Snitzel and comes from an exceptional female family. He is out of Ultimate Fever who is a 2YO Stakes winning Rory's Jester mare. She is the dam of stakes performers Sprightly Lass, Le Cordon Bleu and Stratosphere.

Sprightly Lass had just 8 starts for 6 wins and 2 seconds and twice defeated Santa Ana Lane showing how much ability she had.

Stratosphere also had blistering 2YO speed and only inexperience cost him winning the Group 3 Canonbury Stakes at his first start. He had enormous potential, unfortunately he couldn't reach his full potential due to injury.

Stratosphere is also one of the best looking horses you will lay eyes on and is sure to leave great types.

Stratosphere will be standing the 2019 breeding season at Grenville Stud for $4,400 inc GST with service fee payable on live foal.
