More Stakes Success for Denman Mare

Mornington trainer John McArdle and a big team of owners have already had a lot of fun with talented Denman mare Humma Humma, who produced a personal best performance to win the Listed MRC Alinghi Stakes (1100m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

Humma Humma  wins Alinghi Stakes  - image Grant CourtneyStakes-placed five times and a winner of the Listed SAJC Redelva Stakes last season, Humma Humma won first up at Moonee Valley on September 27 and kept up the good work with this fast finishing win under Jamie Mott.

She surged to the line to win by half a length taking her overall record to five wins and six placings from 17 starts with earnings in excess of  $472,000.

An $80,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Redgum Racing from the Flinders Park Stud draft, Humma Humma was bred by Bridsan Bloodstock and is s the second winner from Humma Mumma, a metropolitan winning half-sister by Bel Esprit to stakes-winner Vignette.

Humma Mumma has a yearling filly by Capitalist and was covered last spring by Zoustar.

Humma Mumma is one of 16 stakes-winners for Lonhro’s stunning son Denman, who has relocated to Twin Hills Stud and stands at a fee of $8,800.
