Nitrous made his debut in the Group III ATC Breeders Plate finishing a fading eighth after he led and pulled hard all the way.
He led again this time for Mitchell Bell, but travelled more kindly and was in a different class in the run to the line powering clear to win the 1000m dash by four and a half lengths.
