Alma Vale Thoroughbreds Chairman’s Sale Quartet

Fresh from producing the top lot at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale earlier this week, Alma Vale Thoroughbreds are now turning the focus on broodmares with four quality mares to be offered in the Chairman’s Sale on Thursday evening and they are in foal to super commercial sires I Am Invincible, Wootton Bassett (GB), Home Affairs and Russian Revolution.

Lot 8 Mae West (NZ) Group III placed half-sister to Group III winner Who Dares Wins and is a proven stakes producer as the dam of multiple stakes-winner My Bella Mae. Has a positive test to Wootton Bassett (GB)

Lot 15 Mrs Orb (USA) – Imported multiple stakes-winner, 7 wins including three Listed victories at major tracks Aqueduct and Pimlico. Positive test to Russian Revolution in her second season at stud and first foal is a lovely filly by Stay Inside.

Lot 29 Roselyne (Fr)- Winning half-sister to Group I winner Danceteria and stakes-winner Blossomtime from the family of outstanding sire Lope de Vega. Her first foal is a cracking colt by Siyouni and she has a positive test to the best stallion in the country I Am Invincible.

Lot 56 Yolanda Half-sister to Group III winner Tallow, the dam of Golden Slipper winning champion 2YO Farnan. Her first two foals are top class colts by Justify (USA) and Home Affairs, so there is unlimited upside with this mare. She is offered back in foal again to Home Affairs, one of the most exciting young sires in the land.

With Extreme Choice having seven sold through the ring so far averaging $840,000 highlighted by a sales equalling top price of $2m for Kingstar Farm’s colt, the Newgate Farm based stallion only has three to sell on Thursday, which could see Snitzel or I Am Invincible hit the lead on averages.
