Trained by Chris Waller, Private Life was a $650,000 Magic Millions purchase from Arrowfield and won over $2million on the track with his highlight win coming in the Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas when he defeated subsequent Group I VRC Australian Guineas winner Feroce and high class multiple Group winner Evaporate.

Private Life has been priced at $19,250.

Coolmore Australia’s Racing Manager, John Kennedy spoke glowingly of the colt, “Private Life is not only an immensely talented colt, but one of the best-looking stallions we have had in the barn at Jerry’s Plains in my time. He is an absolute standout, and breeders are going to love him when they see him.

“We’re offering a limited number of Breeding Rights in him and he’s the type of horse that, if he leaves stock that look like himself, breeders can expect a quick return on. The Waller stable always knew that he had serious Group 1 ability and that was clear when he defeated Feroce and Broadsiding in the Caulfield Guineas, but he also got within 1.2 lengths of Sunshine In Paris in the Champions Sprint where he should have finished much closer and beat home horses like Giga Kick and Overpass.”

Private Life combines the blood of two champion sires being from a daughter of Snitzel and is the second Caulfield Guineas winner for champion sire Written Tycoon and the other is current leading first season sire by winners and earnings Ole Kirk.
