Date Change for NZB South Island Sale

Media Release - Thursday March 19

Due to today’s announcement made by the Government regarding further restrictions with large public gatherings, New Zealand Bloodstock has made the decision to postpone the 2020 South Island Sale that was due to be held on 17 April.

After consultation with various New Zealand and Australian stakeholders, the Sale will be moved to Friday 7 August 2020. The Sale will effectively become an unbroken two-year-old Sale, the same format that was previously held up until 2013.

The public gathering and travel restrictions should be well and truly over by August, and the economy, along with buyer confidence, will hopefully be on the way up.
